No matter the how my day goes I know that they love me the same.

Makayla Keeton, Founder

Our Story

Horses have played a transformative role in the lives of both Makayla and Rachel, helping them find purpose and healing in ways they never imagined. For Makayla, who is blind in one eye and struggled with depression, her journey into the world of horses was nothing short of life-changing. The bond she formed with the horses gave her a sense of purpose and strength she had been missing. Working with the horses allowed her to focus on something beyond her challenges, and the connection she felt with these incredible animals helped her overcome feelings of isolation and despair. For Rachel, who faces several physical issues, the simple act of walking alongside the horses has had a profound impact. As she slowly walked through the barn and across the fields, she noticed that the movement was helping her straighten her muscles and improve her posture. Each step brought her closer to strength, and the rhythm of walking became both a physical and emotional release. Both Makayla and Rachel found new hope and healing in the company of horses, discovering not just a hobby, but a purpose that transformed their lives.

Our Mission

Our organization is excited to offer a dynamic approach to equine education and agricultural awareness. We’re committed to delivering a wide array of engaging programs, including interactive workshops, hands-on training, and community outreach initiatives, all designed to deepen understanding and foster a true appreciation for equine care, horsemanship, and sustainable farming practices. By empowering individuals with valuable knowledge and skills, we’ll not only support the well-being of horses but also contribute to the vitality of the agricultural community. We are eager to collaborate with local schools, community centers, and other nonprofits to provide accessible educational opportunities and resources. Through exciting community events such as open houses, farm tours, and volunteer days, we’ll invite the public to experience and learn firsthand about the world of horses and agriculture. With strong partnerships across the community, we’re building a network that will support and uplift both individuals and the broader community for years to come.
